Today, April 17, 2011, we left Marina Jack at 7:00 am and arrived York Island anchorage (by Sanibel Island) 2:30 pm. A total of 60 nautical miles. We took the GICW to Venice, FL, and then into the Gulf to Redfish Pass at Captiva Island, FL. It is a beautiful day-clear with winds of 10-15 knots from the north. Tomorrow, we will pass Fort Myers and enter the Okeechobee waterway to the east coast of Florida.
