Well it’s been a heck of month. When we arrived home, Alexis’ dad took a turn
and was gone in three weeks. Fortunately
for him it was quick, and Alexis was with him when he died and gave his eulogy
at the funeral. As I have said before
Bobby was a great father in law, and will be missed.
We were uncertain whether to continue the Loop or turn
around and head back south. Many Loopers
who live on the Great Lakes have told us it is still doable in September, so we
are heading to the Erie Canal in the morning.
Our trip through Canada will be hurried, but our Loop ends in Mobile
where we cross our wake, so no hurry to get to Florida in December, as we will
head home from Mobile. So life goes on,
and thanks to all of you for your e mails of sympathy.
